Beach Volleyball Camp

Point Pleasant Beach 

500 Boardwalk (between Arnold and Trenton Ave) 


2 sessions:   

9am-12pm - Beginners - This session will be for girls and boys who are new to the game of beach volleyball. These participants will learn the basics of beach volleyball (passing, setting and some strategy).  

1pm-4pm - Intermediate/Advanced - This session is for the more experienced boys and girls.  These participants know how to pass, set and implement strategies. These players have participated in competitive beach volleyball. No one under the age of 12 is permitted in this session, unless it has been approved by GAV.  


About:  This camp is for all players 18 years of age and under. It is lead by Head Coach, Mark Blair and assistant coaches, Brian Gadaleta and Gian Verderame.  These top notch GAV beach instructors will teach participants all aspects of the beach volleyball game.  Whether you are new to the game or already play at an elite level, our knowledgeable coaching staff will provide the guidance and knowledge to take your game to the next level!

The camp includes: a camp t-shirt, daily beach badge, training and lunch/dinner on the last day! 


What should you bring?  sunscreen, plenty of water and/or Gatorade, beach towel, beach chair (optional), healthy lunch and snacks, cooler with ice, please make sure you wear proper beach attire (e.g. bathing suit, tank top, shorts, sandsocks, sunglasses).

It is very important to remember to hydrate all day long while playing beach volleyball.   Please remember to pack a lot of drinks!  We will provide shaded areas to store your coolers and to take your breaks.  


Rain Policy:

In the event of a rainy day, we will notify participants via email and our Facebook page that the camp is cancelled.  Please check your email and social media before calling.  Friday will serve as the rain date for any cancelled days.
