GAV Named AVP America Organization of the Week

WALL, New Jersey, April 6, 2020: AVP America named Great American Volleyball the Organization of the Week! 

We are proud to be recognized by AVP America as an organization dedicated to growing the game of beach volleyball! 

AVP America featured GAV on their social media channels on April 3, 2020:

"We are thrilled to showcase our #OOTW; Great American Volleyball (GAV)!! Established in 2002 by NJ pro beach player Wayne Gant, they started with just a handful of tournaments and now run 25 — every weekend from the end of April through mid October!! With most tournaments being held in Point Pleasant, NJ, they also frequent Atlantic City, Bradley Beach, Brigantine, Cape May, Sea Bright and new for 2020: Wildwood! Their Junior Beach Club has grown to over 600 players in 11 locations across NJ and PA!

GAV not only runs beach and grass tournaments, but also adult leagues, a junior beach club and camps all summer long! We love that their favorite event is the DAG Charity Tournament, which raises money for a local organization that helps cancer patients and their families! GAV is the latest addition to the list of top notch organizations recognized in 2020. Other 2020 nominees include DaKine Volleyball Club (WA), Volleyball of the Rockies (CO) and Grand Sands Volleyball (OH). 

We are grateful that our commitment to promoting beach volleyball for all ages and skill levels has been noticed. Each season we continue to grow our offerings to give more people the opportunity to participate in this amazing sport.
